  • Asset Tracking and Management
  • Facility Mapping and Visualization
  • Integration with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Underground Utility Mapping
  • Maintenance optimization
  • Centralized construction sites monitoring
  • Alerts and reporting

Success stories:

The project scope encompassed the development of comprehensive 3D models. For the development process, the standard approach of 3D modeling to Plan, Do, Check and Act cycle is followed, which is a repetitive four-stage model for continuous improvement in BIM modeling process. Process involved review of input drawings, verify reference data, review the real time data, define Revit model hierarchy, create families and assemblies, update model to BIM, assign component attribution QA/QC and deployment. Pump station asset data is integrated with the 3D model, operators can quickly locate and access critical components, monitor performance, and plan maintenance activities more efficiently.

Key advantages of deployed 3D BIM models for water transmission pump stations is enhanced visualization, allowing stakeholders to explore the facility from all angles and perspectives. By leveraging BIM technology, WTS engineers can create highly detailed digital representations of pump stations, capturing not only the physical structure but also the intricate network of pipes, valves, pumps, and other components in a three-dimensional environment.

EDMS (Engineering Document Management System), deployed successfully for multiple clients, centralizes all as-built data in a digital environment, providing tools for archiving, managing, previewing, and retrieving drawings based on specific search criteria.

EDMS features:
  • Centralized drawings repository
  • View and search
  • Version control
  • Document download and group sharing
  • Combine various documents and generate reports
